Central Park Streetlights

Let’s get petty.  The light in Central Park at night is terrible. It’s great if you want to take a driver’s license photo. If you want ambience, beauty, agelessness, the Central Park Conservancy ruined the Park at night.  They could have used fake LED firelight bulbs and brought Central Park back to its early glass lamp days. They could have used LED lights that look incandescent and gave the streets a sad glow. Instead, they chose the sort of lighting that let’s customers know you’re closed. It’s bright, and loud and ugly.  If you’re listening Central Park Conservancy, and I’m 100% sure you’re not make Central Park beautiful at night again. You can have brightish lights that aren’t white and harsh.
